Temporary Full-Time – Public Works Equipment Operator

The Municipality of French River is accepting applications for one (1) Temporary Full-Time Public Works Equipment Operator to provide coverage during an employee leave.

Reporting to the Manager of Public Works, the Operator will be responsible for operating heavy equipment for road and sidewalk maintenance, snow plowing, sanding, and other public works services.

Qualifications include:

• Secondary School Diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent
• Valid DZ driver’s licence (AZ an asset)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience operating heavy equipment
• Clean driver’s abstract
• Bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week
Compensation: As per the Collective Agreement
