Franco-Ontarian Day
When:
Community Programs
Franco-Ontarian Day was formally declared by the provincial government starting in 2010 and the Franco-Ontarian flag was raised for the first time on this day in 1975! Each year on this day, we recognize the contribution of Ontario's Francophone community to the cultural, historical, social, economic and political life of the province.
Wear green and white, the colours of the official Franco-Ontarian flag and come celebrate with us at the Municipal Complex.
The youth of our community will raise the flag and lead us with Franco-Ontarian songs!
